GE2011 - Is your vote secret?

After seeing so much media coverage of all the rallies that is going on in other GRCs, SMC... It's so b***dy quiet over my place. I do not hear much that's going on in Yuhua Constituency (neither PAP nor SDP)... why ah?? why ah?? why ah???

The last time I heard trucks going round blocks blasting in different languages to get your votes was probably back in my pri sch days where I stand watching with curiosity from the kitchen window rattering about what is going on with this loud speaker that keep sound every 1-2 hours.

I too remembered 5 yrs ago, when I thot I will be getting the to vote for the first time since I have hit the legal age and getting really excited about voting only to know later that it was a d**n walked over...

After such a long wait, today on the 7th of May, I have finally cast my virgin vote...

How did it feels? Ok, the whole process was really short probably less than 5mins.... The queue was short... we were divided into different queue base on what is indicated on the cards. After going thru a few security checks to verify my identity, I was finally directed to a counter to have my name verified against a long sheets of paper. After which, a lady read out my name aloud including my serial no. on the ballot card... Finally, I willl decide my vote and dropped it into the box.

Then, I was pondering... I have my identity matched against a ballot card no., ur votes were divided into boxes e.g. A1, A2, A3, B1 etc... (I heard that it will be able to identify e.g. the majority of the people within a blocks have voted for which party)... So I am starting to get really skeptical if my vote is really that sacred???

This movie really rock the Golden Globe, and I think they well deserved it... Its kind of amazing to know how Facebook actually was created although I do not know how true it is. Really interesting though... A movie just about Facebook (yup, that's right! the one that most of us are using it.. almost every day! :p)

Movie - Hello Stranger

Quite a while back in Dec, I caught a romantic Thai comedy... And its totally hilarious!!! I really think Thai movies are one of the Asian countries that produce movies with good substance of humour / horror...

Same goes to this movie. It talks about total 2 Thai strangers who met in Korea - One got dumped, the other dumped another person.. and love blossom between them. Enuff said.. check out the trailer and go see the movie. You totally know what I mean! Laughed your lungs out!!!!!!

A little behind the scenes

I have a flower gal, and where is my knight in shining armour?!

Few weeks ago.... Uncle Steven came over my place with Megan (my youngest cousin who is in her Primary 2 if I didn't remember wrongly)

So I was doing some work, and then....

Cousin Megan (CM): Regina, I want to be your flower gal when you get married.

Regina (R) *mind when blank, and wonders if she heard wrongly)
R: Megan, what did you say?

CM: I say I want to be your flower gal when you get married.

R (burst out laughing): How can I get married when I don't even have a boyfriend... *giggles*

I remembered she did look a little embarrass but it was really sweet of her to say that... so Megan, I promised that you will be my flower gal if I really do get married unless you are too shy to be one / reject me. *wink* That's a deal!

Looks like I need to find a page boy too.. haha! Wait a minute.... More like I need to find my knight in shinning armour.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1)

One word - Disappointment!!! Just stick to the book... of course that's always the outcome when you read the book, but it shouldn't be this worse! And there is still a part 2 to finish the whole bl**dy series...

2ndly, I really couldn't help and burst out laughing when I hear ladies screaming during the movie... Come on! Its not a horror flick for goodness sake! But you people really tickers my feet when I am almost drifting into dreamland...

Anyway, I am not the only one commenting on how bad this movie is... so... Wait for the DVD or maybe try to borrow it from someone who has the original of course...

PS: Nice to catch up with Emily-jie and Sharon-jie (not forgetting the good news!! I can't wait), Cindy-jie - where are you? Super long never see you liao~~~ ^_^
